“ Even when I can’t share something with my parents or friends, I can open my heart to God and talk to him during QTin Kids. ... There were times when doing QT felt like a chore. Sometimes, I rushed through it just to get it over with and go play. Looking back, I realized I was praying out of selfishness, not true faith in Jesus. “체육 시간에 반 친구들과 피구 게임을 했어요. 분명히 가위바위보로 공정하게 팀을 정했는데, 한 친구가 계속 짜증을 내며 팀을 바꿔 달라고 했어요. 결국 저와 나머지 친구들은 그 친구를 설득하다 화를 냈어요. 체육 시간이 끝난 뒤에도 저는 그 친구를 용서하지 않을 거라고 다짐했지요. 그런데 오늘 말씀에서 이스라엘 백성은 베냐민 사람을 용서하고, 평화를 선언했다고 해요(엡 21:13). 마음이 맞지 않고 멋대로 하는 친구라도 용서하는 마음을 주시길 기도할래요.” (초등학교 5학년 오가은 어린이)

“ One day in PE, we were picking dodgeball teams by playing rock-paper-scissors. But one friend kept getting upset and didn’t want to play fair. It made the rest of us really frustrated. After class, I told myself I wouldn’t forgive him. But in today’s passage, the Israelites sent a message of peace to the people of Benjamin (Judges 21:13). I realized that God wants me to forgive, too. I’ll pray for a heart that can forgive even when it’s hard.” (Gaeun Oh, 5th grader)
